This second generation family business was founded in 1956 by Edward Everett, father of Tim.  The business has expanded to include frames and has recently moved to a new purpose built studio to allow further growth in the areas that the business specialises in.

Started making and repairing period frames for the London and American trade in 1981.  Since then his expansive experience has allowed us to grow the framing into specialised fields from gilding, carving, casting and high quality finishes.

ZELIE DALE-HARRIS

Painting restorer Zelie Dale-Harris is one of the leading oil painting restorers in the south west. Having been trained in a major London studio in the 1980’s, she has been working in Devon for the past 22 years, restoring pictures for museums, private clients and art dealers. She is an associate member of BAPCR.

JOHN ESSEX

Apprenticed as an oil painting conservator (re lining) in 1963 and long time Fellow of the The British Association of Paintings Conservators & Restorers.  John has worked for many museums and London galleries for over 40 years.  Meticulous and extremely experienced we are very lucky to have John as a versatile conservator in our team.

PETER HEAL

Apprenticed in 1957 and from the great dynasty of Heal craftsmen.  Very  knowledgeable with all aspects of wood and with so much experience with historical pieces and techniques.  Besides the qualities that he brings to our bespoke framing and restoration Peter has an extraordinary collection of guns and canons!

MARK CORAY

Mark served an apprenticeship in cabinet making under John Makepeace, continuing his training at the prestigious West Dean College where he gained a distinction in antique furniture restoration & conservation. It was here that he was able to develop and refine his natural talents to an extremely high standard.

FRITZ EASTHOPE

Spent a lifetime in the world of paper restoration and conservation. Fritz specialises in antique maps and has undertaken many extremely complicated jobs involving very early maps. He often travels to Hong Kong to assist with Chinese manuscripts.

ALISON LISTER

Conserves all types of textiles including embroidery, tapestries, furnishing textiles, banners and flags, costume, lace, rugs and archaeological and ethnographic textiles.  Alison has practised for over twenty years and has a team of experienced textile conservators working for her. She is accredited by the Institute for Conservation.
